Our Mission

Our mission is to provide the highest quality products, excellent service, and total customer satisfaction at reasonable prices.

Company Profile

Our journey began in 1991, when our Managing Director, Wilfredo Ortiz Clas, needed help repairing his acupuncture equipment. That experience inspired us to start this business, and we have been growing ever since. Initially focused on equipment repairs and building custom cables, we have since expanded our offerings to include equipment sales, acupuncture needles, educational books, software, and professional seminars.

We also specialize in servicing various types of equipment used in the aesthetic field, including endermologie, microdermabrasion, massage, and microcurrent devices.

Today, our operation is driven by a multidisciplinary team of professionals spanning the electronics, sales, IT, and medical fields, along with the invaluable support of our volunteer staff.

Warranty

Warranty service is provided at our facilities. The equipment may be brought in person or shipped through a carrier. Please ensure that the unit is insured and that a tracking number is requested at the time of shipping. On-site service is not provided, although some exceptions may apply. We may replace the unit if it is irreparable, return it to the manufacturer for repair, or issue a credit. The average turnaround time for repairs is 5 business days, but it may take longer. We are not responsible for damages resulting from circumstances beyond our control that may occur while the unit is being serviced.

You agree that the sole and exclusive maximum liability of Acupuncture & Aesthetic Devices arising from any product sold shall be limited to the purchase price of the product. In no event shall A&AD, its owners, employees, or representatives be liable for any special, indirect, consequential, or punitive damages related to any product sold.

Sales Policy

International Orders: No returns are allowed for international orders. You are advised to investigate your country's rules and customs regulations regarding the products you intend to purchase before placing your order. AAD will not be responsible for any difficulties or duties you may need to pay.

 

Local Orders (USA and Puerto Rico): Returns, refunds, and exchanges must be made within 7 business days of purchase. All returns must be accompanied by a copy of your invoice or canceled check. Pricing for returned items will be based on the actual price paid according to our records. All returned merchandise must be in its original packaging and in unused, resalable condition; all shipping materials, the original box, manuals, software, and accessories must also be returned. Computer software, once opened, is not returnable. Books are not returnable. Needle boxes are not returnable. We reserve the right to impose up to a 20% restocking fee. Equipment whose purchase price is $5,000.00 USD or more is not covered by this return policy and is not returnable; no credit or return will apply.

Special Orders: All special orders require a 50% deposit. If the order is canceled and the item has not yet been shipped by the manufacturer, the deposit will be refunded. If the item has already been shipped and the order is canceled, 20% of the deposit plus customs and shipping expenses will be deducted from the refund amount. Once the item has been delivered to the customer, it cannot be returned.
